This binding enables the user to open it completely and put it flat on the table. Thus it’s quite easy to work with the brochure. The cover is printed on a chamois coloured 300g paper, the colouring pages are printed on white 90g paper. The texts are written in English. However, a translation into German is available and can be provided on request. I recommend to use colour pencils. In case you would like to purchase a copy send my artist friend Norman an e-mail ([email protected]). Further sources of supply for our new book title "Colouring with Alisande - Fanciful Flowers". Recently my apprentice master started working on a new illustration. He plans to use it as a cover motif for one of his next books. Since I will be the narrator again, he wants to depict me anew on the front and back cover of the book. Thank God he has come up with a very relaxed pose for at least one of the pictures in which he wants to paint me. So while I act the model for him, I can sit quite comfortably. That's something. Later, when he has finished this beautiful landscape around me, it will look as if I am leaning comfortably against a tree trunk, dreaming away and letting the wind caress my toes. Here you can already see the beginnings. This time Norman took again a lot of care on the structure and the colouring of the sky. Once the picture is finished I will sit under a sky like the ones the Duc de Berry and the Duke of Bedford beheld in their Books of Hours... |

I BID YOU WELCOME GOOD SIRS My name is Alisande
and I appreciate you've dropped by. I'm a limner and scrivener - or as you would put it in your 21st century - an illuminator and scribe. I was born in the year of the Lord 1394. Shortly after my 16th birthday, I suddenly found myself - heaven knows through which mysterious occurrences - in the 21st century. Since then I have been living with a couple who very lovingly and affectionately took me in. Since they are both painters and book illustrators, I can even help them with their work. Information about their art you can find on their websites: In the course of time me and my feline chaperone Harry became rather well known and started to receive a lot of messages from near and far.
It became clear: We needed our own space where we can correspond with all our devoted followers and friends. So Norman - one of my two artist friends - set up this 'Chronicle' for us. Here you can have a chat with me and my rascally mouser. Archives
